Norfolk Machine Knitter's Club

Knitters supporting Knitters

A community of machine knitters interested in sharing and supporting their mutual interest in the love of machine knitting.

We need you!

We’re strugling to get new members. Let’s get the word out, and make this club a success.

We’ve got a great location, and interesting and informative content. What we don’t have are warm seats in the chairs.

June’s meeting was intimate, but informative. Unfortunately we did not get the 2 new members that we were expecting, but we live in hope!

JoAnne Scott made a brilliant demonstration of creating knit weave fabric on a flatbed knitting machine. She gave instructions for both non-patterning machines as well as punch card machines. The video of her presentation is on our “Members Only” tab.

Stay tuned for July’s meeting where Emily Johnston will be making a demonstration of how to use Kris Krafter’s Needle Beetle ( https://www.kriskrafter.com/ ).

Afew of us will be attending the Burlington Machine Knitter’s Guild’s upcoming knit-a-long event on June 27. Some of us will be making sun hats, and others will dive into scarf making. We’ll follow up with the details next month!

See you in July
